FAQS

Sara’s Cooling Gel Cleanser uses mild Sucrose Esthers to provide a gentle cleansing experience.

Precious oils have been carefully selected to nourish and hydrate your skin, leaving it feeling refreshed and revitalized.

Moreover, the product is free from harmful compounds, such as Ethylene oxide, PEG (Polyethylene Glycol), and mineral oil, making it a safe and healthy choice for your skin.

Our Sara’s Cooling Gel Cleanser, enriched with organic camellia, is an excellent option for all skin types. Unlike our Gentle Cleansing Oil, it has a lighter, non-greasy texture, providing a refreshing experience.

In addition to gently cleansing your skin, this product soothes irritation and has anti-inflammatory properties. It can effectively clear acne-prone skin and leave it feeling refreshed and rejuvenated.

Our cleansers do not contain Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS), Sodium Laureth Sulfate (SLES), synthetic compounds, or mineral oils.

The perfect frequency depends on your skin type and personal preference. However, as a general rule of thumb, we suggest cleansing your face twice daily, once in the morning and once at night.

Our cleansers are mild and safe, even for sensitive skin, allowing you to use them twice daily. However, do not forget to listen to your skin’s needs and provide hydration immediately after cleansing.

If you are used to cleansing only once a day, cleanse at night; it will remove impurities, dirt, and makeup accumulated on your skin throughout the day.

Sara’s Cooling Gel Cleanser, like all Phaedra Botanicals products, is vegan and cruelty-free.

Due to the presence of Moroccan Chamomile (Blue Tansy essential oil) which contains enzymes that are not safe during pregnancy, we do not recommend using Sara’s Cooling Gel Cleanser while pregnant. As we do not carry any other products containing essential oils, we recommend switching to our Gentle Cleansing Gel or Oil during pregnancy or while breastfeeding.

The lifespan of one full-sized jar (30g) of Sara’s Cooling Gel Cleanser varies based on usage frequency. With regular usage twice daily, one jar of Sara’s Cooling Gel Cleanser should last 4 to 6 weeks.

However, if you use it less frequently, the lifespan may be extended.

It’s essential to use the recommended amount, a grape-sized amount of the product, to get the most out of each jar.

Sara’s Cooling Gel Cleanser has a gentle formula that does not strip your natural skin barrier, making it suitable for year-round use.

However, during the winter months when the skin tends to be drier, it’s important to follow up with richer and more deeply moisturizing products to keep your skin hydrated and nourished.

We recommend using Hana Defies Time Phytotherapy Serum and Eratō’s Multipurpose Essence as they are excellent choices for providing additional hydration and nourishment to the skin during the dry winter months.

Choosing the right cleanser depends on your skin type, concerns, and preferences. We recommend our Sara’s Cooling Gel Cleanser with green tea, cucumber, and Moroccan chamomile (Blue Tansy) for oily or acne-prone skin. Its anti-inflammatory and calming properties can reduce redness and inflammation associated with acne and oily skin. Plus, it has antibacterial properties that fight acne-causing bacteria. Pair it with our Blue Hermēs Revitalizing Mask, Cooling or Soothing Skin Tonics, and Sapphō’s Brightening Serum for best results.

If your skin is dry, use our Gentle Cleansing Oil, which provides a rich texture and deeply nourishes the skin. Follow up with our Hana Defies Time Phytotherapy Serum and Eratō’s Multipurpose Essence to nourish and protect your skin and pair these with our Balancing Skin Tonic with Lemon Balm.

Our Gentle Cleansing Gel is a multi-tasking cleanser suitable for all skin types but is best for dry, sensitive, and normal skin.
